The WEST FLORIDA GOLF TOUR has become a powerful force in the world of developmental golf for literally a global group of players and supporters. Like any other business, big or small, we have a hometown and ours is Sarasota, Florida. As members of this community it's only right that we help, “pay it forward” for our neighbors who could use a hand. One of our tour members became aware of a friend and neighbor who is going thru a tough time with their child and we decided to help. Her name is Avalynn.
Avalynn has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Pre-B. Her parents are looking at two and a half years of chemo and treatment, which will take them from Sarasota to St.Pete as much as twice week. Avalynn's parents work helping people in this community every day with her mom being a school teacher and her father a police officer. The WEST FLORIDA GOLF TOUR would like to help and are looking for the support of our players and members as well.
At Sara Bay Country Club we would like our players, sponsors and anyone around for the day to pledge an amount per birdie you or your player makes. Could be a quarter, a dollar, fifty dollars or more. Anything will certainly help. The Tour will also donate $1 per birdie for the entire field. All information will be available at registration.
